Has anyone had a problem with Mike at Tucson Packard? I sent payment for an item a month ago. For the last 3 weeks I’ve been asking for the status (tracking number) and get answers such as I’ll look it up tomorrow - or I’ll send it to you soon. As of now I’m still waiting for any info from him. Last resort is trying to get my money back, which I never had to do before, but I really prefer the item. Never thought it would take so long.

Mike, I tried calling, don’t know if you got my message - anyway my phone number is 1-631-878-5847, or you can email me at - twin6steve@aol.com and can you send some pictures if possible?
Thanks!

Hi, I’m looking for a 1939 Super Eight steering box with shaft to rebuild. My mechanic can’t spare the room in his shop so he has to leave my Packard outside open to the elements for 2 or 3 weeks until he gets it rebuilt and back. I’m not keen on that so I want to give him a rebuilt one to switch and install in one day. If you have one that needs a rebuild and need it I can send you mine ( I’ll pay all shipping fees, of course ). Please let me know if you can.
Thanks,

Steve - a Packard owner since 1979.

Maybe I was lucky but I had a 54 Caribbean for 24 years and it ran fine all those years with Pertronix 6 volt positive system, same with my Pacific for 18 years, and now it’s been over 9 years with my 1939 Super Eight with the Autolite system.

Not sure if that’s an original Packard color, but I like it!
