Source For Valve Lash Measuring Tool For 359 Engine

The service manual shows a tool that drops in place of the hydraulic lifter to measure the clearance to the valve. Is there a source for this tool or an alternate method of determining that the clearance is within specification?

Can someone snap a picture of the backup switch (manual w/overdrive)so that I can see what it looks like and the proper placement? Thanks.

How are the chrome pieces on the arms of the steering wheel attached? I want to have them rechromed and don't want to break them taking them off. Thanks.

My error. Steele has two part numbers. One is for the wedge and the other is described as "hood side to fender". There is no hood to radiator/splash pan bumper described although there are bumpers in that location.

I also thought that a bumper in that location would be vulnerable. Steele rubber lists three different hood bumper part numbers/descriptions. The two pictured above and part# 33-0542-42 (hood side to fender).

I believe the proper part is actually the second of the two pictures posted. There is a separate part number for the hood to grill bumpers. Thanks.

The area I am describing (apparently not well) is on the side of the hood that would face the wedge bumper you have pictured. Not directly opposite the wedge but along that edge of the hood.
