The ad is wrong - the car is NOT a 2126 (which is the long-wheelbase 7-passenger / limousine). The car is a 2106.

I do not know who the two people on the left are, but the other folks are Bee Hamlin (partially obscured), Dwight Heinmuller (owner of the car), George Hamlin (in glasses). James Nance, with Tom Dudgeon in the back seat (who accompanied Nance to Annapolis, and worked for him at the Central National Bank in Cleveland, and at his management consulting firm).

There is an article by Ed Ostrowski in "The Packard Cormorant" (3rd quarter 2020, #180), about what might have happened in 1955 if Packard never purchased Studebaker in 1954. Well worth reading.

It should be noted that the (former) plant for sale is north of E. Grand Blvd. The area south of EGB is owned by the City of Detroit.

The 1953 and '54 Caribbeans had the prop rod as well. They were not needed on the 1956 Caribbeans, as those cars had the scoops stamped into the sheet metal, thus the '56 Caribbean hoods weighed the same as the other '56 hoods.
