I used a piece of flat shelving brace, rolled the end and turned up the other end.
I drilled 2 holes and added some # 6 screws and nuts to clamp them in place .
Actually used vice grip to compress the opening to insert screws so I did not depend on the screws to compress the metal.
Then added some sheet rubber for the hood to sit on.

I knocked on the door and a gentelman came and opened it. I explained what I needed,
He ran a repair shop for over 30 years and helped me.

PM me. As I can look for the part # and see about getting them to you

I ordered in mine from FASTENALL local store,
The guy there opened up his book and we were able to match head and length size really close.

Be carefull in the trim around the door windows. I ended up with one a little long and ended up with a dimple on the inside of the door frame .... :(

I purchased replacement front and rear vent windows from the GLASS MAN and he supplied the setting tape with my order.

I used this tape and it set very well in the channel and a razor blade trimmed off the excess.

The nice thing about the tape was the ability to set the window edge to the correct clearance to the frame as they close against it.

I have one on my 37 to assist getting the system primed after sitting for a time. (like months......)
I used a single pull double pull momentary/off/on switch, (SPDT )
This allows me to push the momentary contact to prime the carb and release then if needed I can place it in contant run .
It is powered from main power ( forget actual point) but the car is equipped with a battery cut off switch.

What I found on my tank sender was the wiper button to coil was stuck due to crud that had vented into the chamber from the fuel.
You can drill out the rivets and GENTLY split the case and try to loosen the wiper button.
Use CAUTION around the resistive sender wire cardboard. Try not to move it.
Carefullly reassemble.
I ended up mucking up the resistive wire and bought a GM sender and drilled out a hole for the suction tube and added some length to get to the bottom area of the tank..
I have an operational gague that in the 1/4 full to 3/4 full bounces like a 1950's dog head in the back window . :)

Not sure of the diameter but go through the ink pen drawer and look for a chrome cap that you can slide on the stem.... Just a thought .

The attachment was a brass top hat.type of retainer pushed into the body with large head (ring shank style) nails . I used the plastic Christmas tree style to reinstall my assembly. 1 1/2 “ to allow alignment during installation..

If you’re remaking the sections due to pull out of the holes or cracks just buy some JB weld and putty the damaged pieces and redill the holes.
