And finally I'm so old that there may not be time to do a restoration. How long have you had the car? The person who worked on mine (for resale) did nothing else for a year. And the car was good to start with.

Same dash as in my 1949 Series 22. The paint combination is perfect and Mecom will get far more than I can afford. I'll take a look at the Hemmings listing. Thanks. Keep those cards and letters coming.

BTW found my car listed in the Registry. Previous owner listed it and then did a 'like new' restoration just before I bought it...so authentic that the seat cushioning is horse hair. No detail missed. Runs fine...quiet and smooth.

Thanks. Those are what I was referring to. Packard crest in the middle. Colorful. Unique. Dealer said they were $79,000. Had to buy the Woody to get them. Kanters are different.
