Thanks for the reply. Car number is 3819. Delivered 7/31/37. After a bunch of research and your help, the holes appear to be rivet holes that have been drilled out. I checked the passenger side and it has the same four rivets. They cannot be seen from the post side, only from the back where they are pinned over. I also found that the cage nut that holds the shoulder bolt for the top irons was replaced on that side. Looks like someone tried to access the nut via taking the post assembly apart. Thanks again. Neil.

Trying to keep the car as simple as possible. Will trade the radio box and tuner with cables (all in need of restoration) for a correct radio delete for a 1937 115c convertible coupe. Pictures available. Will split postage. Thanks in advance. Neil.

Usually such glass is installed with glass setting tape. Once the glass is in place with the tape on it, the tape is oiled and expands to hold the glass.

I'm restoring a 1937 Convertible Coupe that I purchased in boxes. Need some help in identifying four holes that appear on the driver's side door latch post. They appear to be factory. Thanks in advance. Neil.

Is the rubber between the metal bracket that's mounts to the frame and the metal bracket that mounts to the transmission, vulcanized to both brackets, to one or none? Any explanation would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Just started a new project. 1937 115-c convertible coupe. It has been sitting for 40 years (disassembled) near Ocala Florida. I have been doing cars for almost 60 years, but this is my first Packard. Most likely will need a lot of info.
