I will take a picture of mine and post it. I talked to
teck dept at Senden and he said that it takes 7.5 volts to ingage clutch and he thought with 6 volts you might get slippage and he would change it to 12 volt.

I talked to Classic auto air in Tampa and he told me that when putting air in a 6 volt car they use a 6/12 battery
Half the battery is 6 volt and half the battery is 12 volt
and you run your air conditioning off the 12 volt side and you do not need to change anything.Anyone ever hear of that?
The installation man is going to call me tomorrow. Let you know more later.

The car never had air . I bought the car from the original
owner 2 years ago. Never been painted .I had new rocker panels put in
and some work around the wheel wells. that is the only new paint. The 4 groove bottom pulley is not using front 2 grooves but they all look to be the same size. 4 blade fan.
Thank You

AS much as I want to keep my Patrician original. It is still 6 volt pos ground and I am the second owner with 56,000 miles.
I am thinking about putting air in it. It is too hot to injoy the car in Florida, I want to drive it. My questions are If I change it to 12 volt and add air will the engine
handle it or will I over heat? Do I need to put fan in front
of radiator or change it. What are my major problems going to be? I was thinking of going to vintage air in Tampa and put front and rear air in car.Need some opinions.Thank You.

I changed my Treadle Vac to new power booster and master .
cost was under $450.00 I love it. If you type in New power booster and master cylinder in the search box then hit
HH56-2010/12/24 you will see how I did it. I do not know if it is the same as my car. It was not that hard.

On my 53 I'm using Autolite 308 plugs These are resistor plugs. Is this the correct plug? Are resistor plugs OK?
