Where do the fog lights draw power from?
Body lights? I pretty sure they are a dealer installed item

unfortunately the clock needs to come out to fix. Once out-let it run for a couple of days or weeks to insure it will contunue to work after reinstalling. My clock is in the glove compartment-easy to get out.

Thks to all wiring diagrams for rear lights are great to have. I found the problem-the wire attaching to body lights fuse had come lose-it seems the wire is not long enough and may need to be lengthened

Do front and rear lights connected together at the body light headlight fuse? What I am getting at if the front lights work then the rear lights are getting power?

I would try lub thru that hole before taking anything a part. I had situation on a 49 packard stuck in 1st-put lub in the hole and worked the gearshift-slowly it freed up. If that does not work then step 2 do follow HH insttructions-good luck
