No that's the paint. The car doesn't have a dent on it. I just have to give it a CLR scrubbing and get off some surface rust. Then bust out some elbow grease and start polishing. I'm soaking the cylinders in Marvel and getting parts together. Then see if she will fire up.

It's a desert car. So it has little to no rust. Just the surface rust which hopefully I can clean up.

I'm going to need more polish for this one.

You're right. The previous owner was getting ready to paint it when he got hurt in a wreck and couldn't finish it. I'm just going to see what I can do with what I have. I'm not looking for perfection. Just to get it as good as I can and enjoy driving it.

It's just business. A catchy name. Think of Marilyn Monroe or Rodney Dangerfield. Those weren't their real names. But it worked for them. I wish I could do so well. But all my gigs were cancelled because of Covid. Oh well. I don't do it for the money. I just like to see people laughing. It makes me happy. If I see a sad person and can make them laugh then my work is done. It's a great feeling.

I am a stand up comedian. And my real name is boring and hard to pronounce. So I changed it for business reasons.

I was polishing up my hubcaps on my 50. Apparently this had not been done in a quite a long time because it was a chore. But I think that they turned out well for being 71 years old.

So for giggles. I put some linseed oil on the paint. Just to see what it looked like?

Surprise! My car is black, not battleship gray. I was going to paint it black anyway. I like black paint jobs.

I've been trying to add an avatar. But I get kicked out faster than my ex wives kicked me out.

What am I doing wrong? It says my pictures are too big. I've tried to make them smaller. No dice. I still get the boot.

I did look a Kanter's website. But I got lost fast. I'm not good with computers. And I don't really know what I'm looking for. The little dewhickey that goes in the bezel. I don't even know what to call it. But thanks for the information. I'll call them. I try to avoid calling because I'm hard of hearing and don't do well on the phone. I can't hear what they're saying. Too many years of loud music.
