Since you've pulled motor and gone this far you might as well go through everything. Previous to pulling motor I would have suggested freeing valves, reinstalling head and checking a running motor.
Did the car sit for a long time before head being removed?

The main things that need to be done now would be going through the brakes since it's been sitting and a wiring harness. Also water pump shaft seal leaking. Paint is in poor shape. Running boards are very straight and solid but need to be recovered.
Several years back I had the MC sleeved and installed new wheel cylinders.
The engine has been rebuilt and some of the new parts include,
pistons, bearings, timing chain & gears, valves and springs.
Starter & gen rebuilt
Overdrive rebuilt
Clutch replaced
Ujoints and pinion seal replaced
Front shocks rebuilt, rear replaced.
Carb rebuilt

I will need to go through my folder on car to see what else I have done and will add to this list.

Car was originally sold by a dealer in Columbia SC and has remained in the area?

Price $14500

Looks like I'm going to be selling my packard. Car is not running now so I have a number of things to do to prep for sale.

"Compression test with new gauge and highly experienced mechanic.
Bob"

Does that mean the compression was good on all cylinders??

Hi Garrett, what condition car are you in the market for? I guess you're looking for a 36-40 coupe but I'm not sure.

You might want to do a vacuum test on it and see what those results are.
