It is a 1939 Packard, body type 1701A, which has been made into a hearse. Judging by the pictures around, it HAS to be a Packard Henney hearse, and I would like a plate just to finish it off once the resto has been done.

Ok, so the hearse has been bought, and just been delivered to the guy who will do the restoration

I am looking for the plate that Henney put on the hearses he built. If none are available, maybe I could get a good picture, and have a plate made.

As the restoration progresses, I will post pics.

Thanks guys. It is a hearse, and it is a RHD vehicle.

According to the info I have, it is a 1939 model - sad that the engine is not the original. I have attached a picture.

If you have any more info,it would be greatly appreciated

Can anyone shed some light on a Packard with the following numbers?

Chassis no. 1701A-2177, Body no. 482230, Engine no. G413244C

Any help will be much appreciated
