So if this is such a good fix, why don't I have one on my '51? I've never even seen one of these in picture before.

I believe Fatman Fabrications makes them. They do not list them specifically on their website, but contact them directly to find out.

I'm looking for someone here in Wisconsin who can rebuild my '51 Packard 200 engine. Any good sources?

Pensacola Salvage Yards?

I'm going to be in Pensacola for a week late in March, and wondering if there are any cool salvage yards around the area. Doesn't need to be stocked with Packards, but any interesting old cars. Be nice to get my rusty car fix a day while I'm on vacation.

Any leads?

Welcome. This site is a great resource no matter where you fall on the "purity" scale.

Take the original Packard radiator to your local radiator shop and get a price for a re-core. I did some research for replacement myself a few years ago, and didn't find anything that wouldn't require making new brackets or other mods. And certainly nothing cheap.

The Packard radiator with a modern core might be a good way to go.

That show is total crap. About 10 minutes of actual old car stuff, the rest is pure fluff. Scripted "reality" show BS.
