The 56 differs from the 55. The 56 has two screws that fasten to the long die cast piece , with the screw heads facing front toward the windshield. The 55 seems to have a single screw that goes through the vinyl covering and door card to fasten to the door stamping. I have a problem loading pics, sorry.

II am in search of a source or information as an alternative means of securing the master (drivers side) master power window switch to the door panel of a 55 400. My go to source has been restoration specialties, I did talk to them some time ago and was told they were no longer available. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Looking for clips for a 1955 Packard hard top small clip that holds cat whiskers to inside of door and Larger clip for power window switch to fasten to door panel. I would need 4 power window clips and 12 of the smaller clips. Tried Restoration Specialties, not available.
