Don,

Are you looking for a lawyer to quote you a price to write the letter for you?

Are any list members going to the show at Steve Plunkett's Estate this weekend in London Ontario? <http://fleetwoodcountrycruizein.com/>

This is the tenth year for this large show with a bit of everything, the 2015 show had 4,200 cars on Saturday and 2,000 on Sunday, they hope for similar numbers this year.

Tomorrow's forecast is looking great, I'll be there with my 37 - 115 and hope to see at least a few other Packards on the show fields.

I would find that car difficult to drive, I'd be staring at the dash rather than the road ahead.

I always turn my Christmas lights off on January 15th, but since it warmed up to -5 C today under a sunny sky I was able to take them down and put them away.

Counting the days until the spring cruise season.

It was such a beautiful day here in southern Ontario, sunny and 13 degrees Celsius when I got up 7:30, I decided to get the Packard out and give it thorough cleaning. I have been so busy this fall that I have not driven her since before Hershey, so she was a little dusty.

I then when on about a fifty mile drive making sure to avoid shopping areas. I had not expected to get her out again this season, this being Canada, so it was great that Mother Nature provided me the chance to give myself an early Christmas present of a drive.

At the end of the drive I stopped in to my local Shell station to fill her up with gas and add a dose of stabilizer. The station was busy and I was swamped by people coming over wanting to talk about my Packard.

I felt bad for the people waiting behind me at the pumps, but in true holiday fashion, on my way back from paying for my gas, the driver rolled down his window complimented my car and wished me a sincere Merry Christmas.

I would like to pass that Merry Christmas on to the Packard community on this forum, and may you all have a safe and Happy New Year.

My first thought when I saw the car was, I wonder how many clowns it could hold?

I don't know what currency this is priced at, but free shipping to Moscow is included. $80k for a clipper?

The price quoted is 680,000 Russian rubles, at today's exchange that would be $10,240 USD.

The Russian ruble has really fallen recently, my last trip there was three years ago, when it took 23 rubles to buy a US dollar (at the time 24.5 to buy a Cdn dollar}, now it takes 66 rubles to buy a US dollar.

There may be some bargin vintage Volgas and Ladas available on Craigslist Russia!

There is a thread about them on the aaca forum <http://forums.aaca.org/topic/240810-smart-signal-magnetic-wireless-turn-signals/>

It would appear that they are no longer in business.

You can find a little more history on the Clifton Park & Halfmoon Emergency Corps here it must have been their first ambulance.

Steve,

I'm not sure why you are getting that error, however I'm new to that site, I went in to have a look and everything looks ok.

Just to repost the picture album is at <https://www.flickr.com/photos/bobgleason/sets/72157653948026919/with/18462535599/>

I have not heard from anyone else, but possibly nobody has tried to have a look.
