Car will be in the Hershey Auction, The owner registered the car a couple of weeks ago and one of you actually wanted to buy the car, well unfortunately R&M fees to pull the car was $2,000.00 so the owner had to run the car through the auction. So still available if anyone is interested

Yes, I agree "Works Great" is really not very accurate!
But does work and must be very gentle, such a poor design

When your Junior series car 1935 - 1937 has a hood issue because of the horrible design it can be fixed but forming the hood sheet metal back to the original position. I gave Dave Flack a call to discuss before I started and he offered great advise. I have attached two pictures, one picture that shows the correct position of the rear hinge in the hood valley, and one picture of the bent hood lip. You will understand when you actually remove your hood. You will find the sheet metal lip bent straight and that is why the hood rear hinge bracket lip will not hold the hood in place.
My hood now works great but I am going to be extremely gentle from now on opening and closing the hood.

A couple of years ago my 37 120 had the same issue "Slightly rough idle" I drove the car to Ross Miller who adjusted the valves while the engine was running and he did find a couple out of adjustment. After the adjustment the cars engine was smooth as silk!. Ross did mention that the correct way to adjust the valves accurately was to have the car running. Most likely that will solve you problem.

At high engine RPM like driving around 60 MPH you may get fuel starvation and this was the fix from Packard. If you do not have the problem no need for the air dome

Do not want to mess up anyone's deal but I would like to buy the radio for my 37 120C

Does anyone have information or can tell me how to adjust the accelerator linkage? My 120C has about three inches travel before it moves the throttle bellcrank, there is a large spring on the end of the bellcrank shaft with a cotter pin to hold it in place but I just can't figure out how to remove the free travel play?

The weather was a very enjoyable fall type os day, Stopped over and met Dave bought a correct distributor and front license plate bracket; Dave was more than fair with the price "Thanks Again Dave" There are some really beautiful Packards here, went to the auction and even though out of my price range the ones that did seel seemed to be a real bargain, raining again this morning as I type this but the forecast calls for clearing up around 9 AM, overall it was a great time and if the weather holds will be attending the car show today.
