I have a friend that has new wire wheels and they make the car shimmy. He found out they are made in China.

There is a really nice '46 6 in the Northern Nevada Chapter of PI. Cliff just had it gone over at Custom Auto Service.
It was featured in PI's magazine several years ago.

Actually, I do not mind the 48-50 Packard outward styling.
But in my opinion, I feel the dashboard styling is dated, and plain, and doesn't live up to a luxury car. The rest of the interior, upholstery materials and seating position, were better than both Lincoln and Cadillac.

That Photo looks like it was taken at the National Automobile museum in Reno.

Packard would have had a lot more money do things if they did not purchase Studebaker......

A friend and neighbor is selling several magnificent Classic Packard's on Hemmings on line. His name is Bill and lives in Minden. I know these cars if anyone wants to check it out.

If you need to move this to Packards For sale, please do if this is in the wrong place

Had the engine rebuilt over 20 years ago by a shop in Long Beach Ca. Engine never used any oil, and did not smoke, but the lifters were noisy even when the oil level was full. Engine only had 60k on it.
