sorry I cant get the picture to post but its across from the drain plug and has 6 nuts holding on a cover.

Hello,

I need to replace the Bendix spring. I took out the screws tat hold the tail housing on but the whole armature wants to pull out with the tail housing. My question is the shaft pressed into the tail housing?
