ha, Dave told me. hahaha. I wanted to see if their was a shop already making to order.

I have an outstanding Upholster who turns my complete car from scratch leather in 4 weeks. This kid is good. I will just turn him loose on the pasterns I have.

Looking for input on vendors that reproduce Convertible tops and side curtains for all models.

Lots of tops to replace :)

the 55 clipper, the guy has been trying to sell it to me for the past year. I have inspected this car

Major project car. Zero interior, no seats, frames etc. Windshield cracked all the way across, paint shot, does have Torsion system and Air.

Last offer to me was $1400. He is motivated to sell, he needs a new truck.

I have extra seats and glass, I just have too much going on at the shop with the other projects.

Barry- it is a Hydro-Static gauge. The pdf Howard provided should lead you in the right direction. Their is a very thin air tube that runs from the tank to the gauge. If there is any obstruction, air leak etc, the gauge will remain static.

There are several places (Howard offered one) that sells fluid to refresh the unit. Their are also some NOS on line but they need refreshed as well after all this time.

I would concentrate on the air tube, gauge assy. and tank unit. It is is all tight, you should get a live gauge.

The lugs on two of the four tires were on backwards, the studs are worn halfway through as well. Simple mistake but costly and dangerous. Glad he brought it in.

Picked up a 56 Pat from a customer for some service work. Two main complaints were that the car made a "Clunking" sound when driving, and the Torsion system is inop.

I drove the car 500 feet and immediately turned around and prayed I could make it back. I called the customer and ask who put the tires on last. See anything wrong with this picture??? Two out of the four tires.......
