It's an American Fiat - they had a plant in New York in the teens, only turned out a few cars. Not sure about the fenders on this one, but, here's a pic of a touring car I found on the web that's identified as a 1918 American Fiat.

Unfortunately it's not the lug wrench, it's the hubcap cover removal tool. I have the original lug wrench with the car. And hubcap tool, I don't have that one. Only a couple of the car's original tools stayed with it - the crank, the lug wrench, and the jack! Doesn't seem to be much way of grabbing that thing.

Okay, I know one of the factory tools did this, but, I don't have the factory tools. So, how do you get the crank hole cover off a 1929 grille?
Going to do new plugs, set the valves, and give Sophie a decent little tune-up over my Christmas vacation (hopefully), but gotta get that cover off to hand crank over the engine. Hopefully this is something so simple I'm just overlooking it. Thanks!

KFI radio is still broadcasting, it's a talk radio AM station in Los Angeles. Very interesting car - strange little bar stools in there! Looks like a lot of fun to drive.

What do you guys put on the leatherette type covering on your trunks to protect them from the sun and UV light?
Thanks!

I can't imagine they kept records of the blackout models. They were just gradually phased in with a variety of parts as the chrome and stainless ran out.
My father (back in the late 1940s) had a '42 Plymouth convertible coupe, complete blackout model, thankfully he liked to take photos. Only things chrome on that car are the dog dish hubcaps and the bumpers and windshield frame. everything else was painted body color, including the entire grille and the headlight rings. Always been my understanding they just kept building until they ran out of parts, doubt they kept records of how many cars were shorted the "correct" parts.
