Manifold Restoration
Home away from home
Home away from home

Eugene Wescott
Greetings,

Has anyone had their intake/exhaust manifold reporcelained? The manifold on my '30 733 is in need of a new coating which I would rather do than just applying the paints that are available/

Thanks
Gene

Instrument Voltage Regulator

Has anyone found a suitable replacement for the IVR for the '56? I've bought and returned 3 NOS and none worked correctly. 12 volts in and 12 volts out.

I had heard that Dodge used something similar and that someone was recreating them.

Thanks
Gene

Ultramatic Transmission Fluids

Happy Holidays All,

I've been using the Dexron Mercon III tranny fluid in my '56 and it seems I get some slippage and noise after driving for a period of time. I tried the Lucas additive, but it didn't seem to help much.

Has anyone had luck with other types?
Thanks

I don't think Joel has a website, only the email address in the Cormorant New Bulletin.

Hi,

I just changed to the Chevron 15-40 after replacing the cam spacer plate and it doesn't make any valve noise now.
