I have feedback from a couple of Packard guys that the original wheels are stronger and easier to keep straight (aligned) than any of the reproductions. So probably worth the expense.

A loose leaf book featuring 27 pages of upholstery samples plus 58 pages of paint schemes for all 1956 Packard & Clipper models.
Measures 13.5" x 9" closed.

This book has been used but is in excellent condition. The upholstery samples are like new and include both cloth and leather.

There also was a "streamlined" goddess of speed ornament PN 394756 that I could never find listed in my parts book but I have two of them in my parts collection. .

Do you have a set of wire wheels already? If so Dayton Wheel can completely rebuild them with all new stainless spokes.

It should have a 7 lb radiator cap.
A Stant R-6 for example.
Check the Parts cross reference for other options.

As Don said, you should be able to find one of these pretty easily. For 53, the front & rear cross bar is the same for all models. It is also the same for 54 clippers, front & rear, and 54 senior cars, rear only.
The 53's quite often are pitted due to the original poor chrome plating because of a chromium shortage during the Korean war. The 54's are generally much better.

I don't think I have one but I will double check my offsite storage when i am there next (probably not for at least a week.)
