Unbolting it from the floor is the easiest way. I have had my seat out 4 times and have gotten good at it. The last time was about 12-15 minutes. Each side has four bolts and the drivers side also is bolted for the power seat if your car is so equipped.

I'm confused. There are 8 bolts? 16 Bolts?

Can the power front seat be removed (to take to the upholsterer) by any method other than unbolting it and taking it tracks, bolts and all?

Any hints to the mechanically challenged would be appreciated!
