Studebaker Packard power antenna, PN AC 2887, Still in the original box.

Anybody who would actually use one of these things is crazy! Not only are they terribly unsafe, but I have seen numerous bumpers that have been damaged by them.
They do make a good conversation piece about what was considered acceptable in the 40's and 50's.
