I seen what sounds something like this on Jay Leno's garage. What it is, more or less is the same thing they use to silver mirrors. They were spraying it on plastic emblems ect..... I even seen on one video where they were doing this to a whole car.... It looks great, but I wonder about the durability....

Seems like they give a pretty wide rating for the torque on the axle nut. 200-270 ft/lbs.

Dorman, that sounds like an aftermarket bolt..... Dorman makes the fix it parts you see hanging on the board at the auto part places sometimes... John

Yeah I remember reading about the prewar system on Packard and the need to remove the belt from the compressor during the winter season.....

Couldn't those lifters be disassembled and cleaned? Though if it is worn this would not help.

Yeah the one posted on CL for 6500 looks like a pretty nice car. From my understanding the 200 series isn't worth much more than 8-9000 dollars??
