Depending on your time frame.

1. A spacer can be machined for that gap. 2. Repair the original one.

3. Cut a 2 inch piece of pipe to fit. Use spacers on the bolts. So flange of pipe won't bend.

4. Gerry pac sw might have used heat risers. I can machine one. Mike delinsky. I am sure has them used too.

Gerry is close to me ..

Can't remember. But i think 1-3/4 fits inside. Then you could put 2 inch over the 1-3/4. To fit into manifold.

But the holes need to be welded. Closed. I used jb weld and it blew out. That's if you use packard riser.

I don't have 2-1/4 cold roll to machine spacer. I have aluminum. But that won't fly. Or will it.?..

Thanks. H.

Have to look up penal code. And get these cars exempt. .

If packard did not make it part of manufacture .. And the state did not force dealers to put mirrors on before sale. Then . we cannot be held by that law..

Broke mirror towelling off packard.

Do you need that mirror in California? A cop said i did.

My dads car did not come with it. And this other 56 i bought does not have it on door. Someone put those that attach to vertical post on door.

New one is pep boys plastic.

Melling came.

This is my thought .since i have not looked at packard pump or rear main.

But no stuck lifters lately.

Marks on melling where to cut and drill and tap for 5/16ths bolt.

Thanks h.

When the rain lets up will lube.

I think i took power from window relay on fire wall. I believe i am using that circuit breaker for wiper motor too.

Back then my thinking was i wanted them to work without key.

After 20 plus years. Forgot which way was on or off..

Know now. Cw on. Cc off.

Thanks h...

Ps..i have alot hooked. Up to ballast. I should put terminal strip in..

I am using the old delta cd..ign.

At some point need to test out my unalite set up..
