The banjo wheel has been sold.

The standard wheel shows paint chips and wear but no visible.cracks. There are two 1/2" long cracks in the center mounting hole that won't show.

The banjo wheel looks good in the pictures but is developing cracks. The cracks can be seen in the third picture where the two lower arms join the wheel. There are also hairline fractures in many places.

$250 for each plus shipping.

To remove the back seat backs, you take out the seat bottom first. Pull up hard on the front of the seat bottom and it should pop up and out. Look below the back cushion and you will see where it is attached with screws-two places as I recall. Once the screws are removed, lift the rear cushion straight up. There are two "hooks" that the cushion mounts on.

These are new in their original boxes, just like they came out of the factory 70 years ago. The boxes are beat up but the guards are perfect. I had a set of guards re-chromed a couple years ago and it cost $250. So you can buy these new ones for less than the cost of re-chroming.

$540 for a bumper and two guards is pretty good.
My 54 rear bumper was about $600 but it is bigger than the 37. The total for my 54 senior: 2 bumpers, 4 guards, 4 bars, 2 center wings was $2200.

I see from their website that North Star Plating no longer does pot metal. I've had pot metal parts done by Classic Chrome in Yuma, Colorado with good results.

I thought all the 327's from 1953 & 54 came with four barrel carbs. I compared my 1953 327 to my 1954 359 and the intake manifold looks the same to me.

For Sale:
1940-42 Packard door handles, window cranks, Convertible top handle, trunk handle.
These are all used but still have very good chrome.

Trunk handle has a scrape about halfway up the handle and a scuff above the lock. Lense is good No key $75

Interior door handles, window cranks, and convertible top handle all have minor pin point pitting $20 each

Outer door handle has some minor nicks in the chrome $40.

I had a set of 54 bumpers re-plated by North Star Plating in Brainerd, MN about a year ago. Their work was top notch but not cheap. They also do pot metal parts.
