Don, you are correct, brake shop will not touch them, too far gone.
LTRD- deep grooves in the drum, measures to 11-1/4", the other one has a raised portion in the middle. this brake set up had split linings....that's different main steering control arm for Bendix is getting replaced. better one on top new upper outer A-frame pin needs replaced replacing lower A frame Passenger side, shock was broken and must have been dragging for quite some time, wore the hole out Max Merritt has drums. but I may just keep looking, they are asking too much $ me thinks for drums turned out to the Max already. on a positive note the pipe hangar works well for holding the suspension And there may be help from some Canadians on the rear brake drums front, time will tell. if not I will reach out again to you fine folks down south. I want to get it rolling to move it outside to clean the underside of the frame and body. So I am in need of rear brake drums. 11”x2”
Mine are shot. All I have are no good. Kanter does not have. Received a good front one from Mike D, but no luck on rear. Have contacted Max Merritt, still waiting to hear. Any other vehicles have drums that would fit?Anyone have the Hollander interchange for 56-64 that can look it up for me? Please and thank you!

Update:
new oil pump from Jack Vines installed, thinking of pulling rockers and giving them a good cleaning before startup. I am in need of some brake drums, mine are worn beyond all hope, no luck sourcing locally. Mike Dulinski hopefully to the rescue, again. if the shop wont resurface them I don't know what to do. is there any point in continuing with out brakes? and yet I am my version of the TL holding tool, a pipe hangar and some threaded rod. currently on the parts car as I removed the lower A frame to replace the pooched one on my car(hope it holds) received my bushing kit from Dwight Heinmuller Awaiting a shipment from Tucson Packard Torsion level links??? when I look at parts book it mentions links with 1, 2, 3, & 4 grooves. the links on my car has 2 grooves, the parts car has one with 5. is this correct? how much will putting them in my car raise it? maybe save an oil pan from road rash? also discovered crawling under the parts car these revised adjustable compensator transverse load bars Attach file: oil pump olds conversion (2).JPG (332.08 KB) Dwight's kit.jpg (296.30 KB) TL link (2).JPG (229.93 KB) TL link (1).JPG (338.92 KB) parts car torsion bar links (1).jpg (290.18 KB) parts car torsion bar links (3).jpg (357.88 KB) TL holding tool (1).JPG (370.71 KB)

I’ve wondered the same about my 56 Executive
Specifications are not clear to me for that model, but Auto-lite starter, that’s correct But delco distributor & generator when I’m supposed to have Auto-lite Rochester carb when I’m supposed to have a Carter? Maybe car is not as original as I first thought??
