lifters

going to use the 879, don't know if they are HT, or not,

but the different types, i am showing the oil hole in one , and i am using that type now,, others have no hole in cup, must be after market, and oil groove are different ,, i have a org lifter, found it after i took these pics. ..

it has oil groove in middle of lifter, and it has has that little hole up top, that you use to pull lifter out,

the lifters with hole in cup,, to me that is another place for oil to leak, then the lifter can leak down, and clack,

I will say, that electric fuel pump auto zone sells for Packard, works ok,, I am using it out of 5 gallon gas can, I still need to drop tank,

on video you can see fuel gas is not working, there is a full tank of 1995 gas in the tank

dave , I to did not have a problem with the rope, except, this time, I was getting to much drag, had the rope in groove but the crank would get tight,

so I thought I would try, the fel pro,, it could be leaking from pan, heed to get car up, so I can see.
