for any new and up and comming ,, DIY ers,,,,,,,,

the 1/4 inch horse does not let pressure get to outside edge, all pressure is on center of impeller, need to cut out seal, which is a job,,dremel, does it,

if you didn't want shaft, you could it too,,

flaring tool work great for holding things to press out, i get a pipe inside dia. close to what i am pressing out,

also see henrys blog, 102,ish, he does excellent work,,

i also thought of removing it on the 400,,, tri paint ,, but its hiding the rust for now,

what those bushings are,,,are a mini load arm bushing,,

not the end ones,,the ones inside bracket..

i did mine, the bar only goes so far, my load arm came off the bracket, was waiting for a wham,,,,but arm stayed up, watch the torque arm, ,, i used a bar to get it back in,,,play with it, with a jack,,

a guy in the sd pac club did in the 80s on his 55 400, looked good,

ps the sanding, ,,

after the paint dried i guess you could run a buffer over it, to polish the rib..
