Hot Rod,
Had the same problem, mine was a wire grounding on frame..could of been limit switch wire. I think..

thanks howard,
i thought there was something to do with ac, as it is called vibrator,, i thought it was about radio waves, cycles. better to buy the electronic one... if i knew mine was bad, i would take it apart. looking at the picture, i see the paper capacitors, which people replace with the can, or axle type metal ones

anyone taken a vibrator apart?,, i know there is an electronic one, but what does it do? should be able to up grade these ,,possibly a capacitor ?

time to get back ups,, engine,,trans, dist, gen, etc. one goes out , drop other in, no down time.. except putting it in..
