Does anyone who owns a 1935 or 1936 120 have a picture of the front (drivers side) bumper bracket assembly as installed that will show how the license bracket is attached?

This is a picture of the two pieces that I have for the license bracket assembly. I believe these are original pieces. I have the front bumper brackets installed, but can't figure out how these attach.

Thank you Howard. I am hopeful that someone who owns a 1936 or 1936 120 will take a look at their regulator and post the connections. Meanwhile, I will attempt to figure it out with the information you provided. Daryl

1935-1936 120 Voltage Regulator Wiring Connections TC-4302-A

Does anyone know the exact connections for the Auto-lite voltage regulator TC-4302-A or B? There are 2 black wires coming out of the top of my generator. There are two terminals located on the outside of the voltage regulator (one marked BAT and the other has an "S" on it. I also noticed two terminals located on the bottom of the voltage regulator (no screws in those). I have an NOS Auto-lite regulator #TC-4302-A. New wiring harness that has a large connector on the end of a heavy cable....... not sure where that goes.

After an 18 year restoration, I started the car with the regulator attached. I had connected the 2 wires from the generator to the 2 outer connections (BAT and S). Then connected the large cable from the new harness also to the BAT terminal. Amp gauge was showing a slight discharge with the motor running. End of story - my new battery went dead. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you very much !!! As I have stated in previous posts, I am completing an 18 year restoration of the car. When I bought it, it was in a million pieces, so I have figured out most stuff...... but the horn wire fooled me. Looking at the top of the steering shaft (not the tube), I see a hole, so I assume that goes all the way thru the steering shaft and out the end at the bottom of the gearbox? Regards, Daryl

Can anyone tell me how the horn button wire (from the contact) feeds through the steering column and where it exits in the engine bay? Thanks.

Hi Ken:

Do you have any idea how the flexible run channel was installed on your '37? Daryl

Thanks a lot !! My car is about 15 miles from home and we just cot socked with 2 feet of snow. I will go check it out tomorrow and see if there is wood in the window frames that I can nail to. I will take a picture and post it. Daryl

Thank you again ! I asked another question about fender welting for the front fenders. Hoping someone knows the answer on that one as I plan to finalize attachment of those two fenders in the next few days. Daryl

Thank you for the help. I bought the flexible run channel from Steele Rubber. It comes in 6 foot lengths, no rivet or clips installed. My car is the 4 door touring sedan, so I purchased 4 six foot lengths. Don't know if I need all that. I'm not sure how long it is supposed to extend down into the body of the door. Bought the car 18 years ago in a million pieces and (unfortunately) the guy I bought it from did not label or mark very many things. No pictures either. I sincerely appreciate your assistance. Daryl

Can anyone tell me how the following items are installed:

Flexible run channel - it goes on the sides and top of rear door window openings; and on the top and rear side of the front door window openings for the glass to slide through. It doesn't appear that there are any holes in the door window frame for these to install. I have the original ones, but there is no evidence of any adhesive on the backside of these.

Rigid run channel - it goes on the backside of the chrome vent window vertical strip - front doors. There are several holes in the chrome strip, but my original ones do not have any holes in them or any sign of adhesive. Could these vertical pieces be just a "press fit" to the channel in the vertical chrome piece?

Thanks in advance for the help. I am finally at the tail end of an 18 year restoration.
