Packard National Meet
#21
Home away from home
Home away from home

wjames
Hi guys
I was think of going to the National Meet in Va. in July and bring my 36
I would like to know what the parking is like and is it secure. Is it inside, outside, can I leave the car unattended to enjoy the Meet. I am new to this and never have left the car unattended for night or for that matter more than an hour. I am sure people that have more expensive car go to these meets, but I don't know how this works. Don't want to go and come back with fender crushed, walk out and someone is sitting in my car, or car stolen
Should I bring a cover? or not
Thanks for your input
Will James

Fifty years ago the population was 2+ billion people ( I was in high school), now it's 8+ billion people. That's the problem
If you do the math, there will be 32 Billion people by 2072, I won't be here to see that and I am glad

If you have trouble getting 37 pic, I have a 36 and don't mind taking pic of what ever you need or I am in NJ if you want to stop by

Might want to check the voltage at the headlights, if you get something other than what you have at the battery you should go searching.
A rusty nut replacement on the back of the voltage gauge in the dash, made all the deference in the world for mine
Cheap fix, spent hour looking
Good luck with her

Cole Hersee brass, battery disconnect switch

HI
Per another post "AGM 6v Chargers" it was suggested that I install this disconnect switch. The car has this switch already installed and I like it a lot. It was installed by previous owner in the fire wall, under the dash.
Was wondering if there is a rubber cover or boot, available, that I can install over the exposed connection outside on the firewall?
Thanks again for your attention
Will
