Thinking of installing stainless steel brake lines on 1940 160

I am thinking of having stainless steel brake lines installed in my 1940 160. Does anyone have recommendations as to where to get them? I saw them in Kanter's catalog and would be curious if anyone has purchased those lines. Also, how difficult is it to install them properly? My mechanic tells me these are difficult to work with since they may not fit properly and may have to be adjusted, which would not be easy.

I will also sign up for a tank for my 1940 Super 8 160 (1377).

I am looking for a spare radiator for my 1940 160 and found this site: www.thebrassworks.net.

The Brassworks
500 Linne Road - Unit I
Paso Robles, CA 93446

Has anyone purchased radiators from this vendor? If so, what has been your experience and are they manufactured as per the original specifications?

I had a car shipped from California to Connecticut with Thomas C. Sunday. Delivery was great with no issues.

Shifter issue - 1940 Packard 160

Beautiful day here in the northeast with warm temperature and changing leaf colors so I took the 1940 Packard 160 out for a ride. On two occasions I had trouble going from first to second. Felt like something was binding. Also, when back in the driveway, I had trouble getting into reverse. Now, everything seems to be fine but, with all the increased traffic these days, I don't want to get caught in first gear and not be able shift smoothly. Any thoughts, ideas? Thanks!
