Thanks Joe. I may have to try that. I'd just rather have OEM. But I know that's a long shot.

I have some nice headlight bezels or trim rings whatever you want to call them for my 50.But only one has a bracket to attach it to the car and I can't find replacements. I'm not sure if I even need this. But it's bugging me having the rings missing.

I third the motion. Register it. It may pop up. And $5100 was a lot of money in 1955. My parents bought their home in 1953 for $13,000 and it was a nice house.

My mother told me it took one of my dad's paycheck's to make the $62 house payment. She still lives there at 90 years of age. She's a tough old gal.

I was at the auto parts store picking up parts for my Cadillac. Just for giggles I asked the young guy at the counter if he could get brake shoes for a 50 Packard.
His response was "What's a Packard"

I have a neighbor and he asked me what kind of car is that?
I said. It's a Packard.
He asked. Did GM or Ford make those?

Shippers can be very shady. I had 4 vehicles shipped when I moved. I gave them plenty of notice of my move date. When that date came they didn't. They told me that they were looking for a driver. So now I'm living in a empty house. Just me and my cars waiting on them. Sleeping on the floor. All my furniture had been moved to my new place. And I had to get out. I had rented out my house and my tenant was on his way.

Long story short. They said they found a driver but it would be $100 more. I paid it because I had to go and I was sick of sleeping on the floor.

Then they put my 71 Chevy truck on the top of the rack of the truck and it dripped oil on my Corvette. My cars took up the whole load of the truck. They weren't waiting for anyone else to make a full load.

The movers were just as bad. They sent a truck that was too small. I had to get another one. More money.

I told my wife that the next time I move it will be to the cemetery.

I can see it fine.

I can also see that I have a lot of work to do on the old girl.

I'm not sure what it's called. I'm new to Packards. It's a two door.

I don't know how to flip the picture.

Thanks. I'll try SMS. I live out in the sticks.I have nothing even remotely close to me. I have to use the internet to get anything.

But it still beats living in the city.

I have no door panels or rear panels in my 50 Club Sedan. I have looked all over the web for replacements and found nothing. I've only found 4 door panels. I was thinking of an upholstery shop to reproduce them. But I have no templates.
I've got nothing. And there is only one little shop in my small town. And they don't seem to be interested. The guy didn't even know what a Packard was.
