Questions for the experts
- Do the rear axels have to be pulled out if the car to inspect/repack the bearings?
- After the rear wheels are pulled what needs to undone to release the axels (assuming this is needed?)

Thanks

I have a pal who has a 120 and is thinking of having the harness replaced, just wondering if anybody here has any recommendations for vendors or experiences with products good or bad that they could share. The only vendor I'm seeing is YnZ so I'd be interested in comments about them.

I bought a high speed gears set for my '35 and am looking to have the rear axle pulled apart and have it installed. I have had a local shop that specializes in this sort of work for trucks and 4x4s etc recommended. My question is this something most mechanics would be able to do or is there specialist knowledge neede to do it right, appreciate perspective from anyone that has done this..

Self adjusting brakes?

I'm having some brake issues I just had new shoes put on the front of the 56 clipper coupe, they seem to have developed greater stoping power on one side than the other, causing turning of the car when the wheel is released when stepping on the brakes. So my question is was the car the sort where the brakes adjust when backing up and stopping the car?

I have core parts from the 320 straight 8s I would like to sell. This includes cases, pans, a cylinder bank heads, intake manifolds, a carb (ee23) delco distributor, lifters a couple of crankshafts, and what I believe is a clutch assembly. some other smaller parts as well. I would emphasize at this point I haven't cleansed or inspected these but if that's what's needed I could look into doing that. Let me know what you are needing and I can provide pictures of what I have to arrive at a fair price. Im moving so I need to get rid of stuff and would like to see it go to someone that can make use of it.

All I see opposite is the name of the Model of tire, I was planning on using Duiamond backs so thanks for the sizing info. Could the sizing be on the inside of the tire?

I have a '56 Clipper Custom Coupe, and the tires need replacing. The current tires are Goodyear Custom Super Cushion and I think there radials, they were on the car when purchased in 16. The size codes make no sense based on the modern system.
What size tires are any owners of similar cars using today?

DOT code PJHL 6DHR what would this indicate?
