Current Limit Relay For 1930 733

Greetings,

I am having problems finding a short in my electrical system and it looks as though it might be the limit relay. Can anyone tell me what it does and if there is a substitute for it or use a heavier fuse.

I've replaced the headlights, taillights with LED's so we're drawing less amps.

Thanks

Greetings All,

Does anyone know of someone who might have NOS or new distributor cams and bushings for my very tired old distributor?

Thanks,
Gene

Thanks for the info, I'll check into the motorcycle tools as the tools I have didn't work very well.

Greetings All,

Does anyone know if Packard made or used a special tool to help get the chrome rings off the wheel and assist putting them back on?

I've done it a couple of times and it is truly a miserable job and one person doing it was jumping on the side walls and the my newly chromed ring while trying to reseat it.

Thanks
Gene

I replaced the brake hoses as well. I bought the lines from NAPA which worked fine on the front, but I bought the same line for the rear which I noticed after installation that it is different from the original in that it doesn't snug up tight. I don't have any fluid leaks that I can see at this point.

Thanks

There still seems to be a fair amount of pedal play. When I bled the brakes, we kept pumping them until there were no bubbles.

Thanks for your help.

I checked them and the cable seemed to return to the rest position. I'll take another look at them to see if the cables are binding up.

Thanks
