Hello all!
Thinking of oil change for the 55 Clipper Custom Constellation 352v8.
Any opinions on best stuff to use? Was thinking Mobil one if zinc additives are recommended.

Great information! I will start checking the relay circuits. Has anyone set up a indicator light to indicate OD active?

Overdrive Operation

Hello All!
Anyone have any tips for troubleshooting the overdrive? I have the cable in the normal position (In) and I dont seem to get overdrive operation. While driving on highway (50+) I pushed in clutch, pulled cable out, and heard some gear noise. Went back to cable pushed in.
I read owners manual on how it engages when over 22mph and you ease off gas. Is there any electrical switches involved? Vacuum switches?
Many thanks in advance

Thanks everyone for your helpful hints. I found a leaking front passenger side wheel cylinder. The brake shoes were like new on that side!! The other side the shoes were cracked and drums needed cut. Got all new shoes and wheel cylinders as installed. Bled entire system including replacement master cylinder. Stops now! Grandson now safe to ride in the 55!
Next up PGVP and putting up for sale!
