Good Afternoon...Just my opinion...I tend to think about the same as Wat! That's been my experience, at least. Ernie in Arizona.

Good Morning...The really old school approach is to open the distributor and remove the rotor and put it in your pocket. In the Army, in Heidelberg, in 1969, a friend of mind was picked up by the Military Police and when they found the rotor for a military Jeep, in his pocket, they thought he was a thief...until he took them to the Jeep assigned to him! Good Morning...I purchased one yesterday in Fountain Hills,Arizona at O'Reiley's Auto Parts. $249 plus tax and it was in stock. I replaced one in our 1949 Deluxe that was installed in 2012. It seems to me that all battery companies produce a dud now and again! Ernie in Arizona

Hi Kevin...Perhaphs make the mixture a bit more rich? Check to see if your points are clean...Miss Prudence gets grumpy when her points are not clean! Ernie in Arizona

Good Afternoon...Condensers and Coils often fail and often fail in hot circumstances. Would be worth checking them out...These are items that are not normally replaced unless they leave us high and dry. Another place worth a look is a loose battery cabble either on the battery itself or the other ends of the cables...Sometimes, even the battery itself...Ernie in Arizona
