That happened to me. Oil a quart low, and the knocking was the BEARINGS. Had to have the engine rebuilt.

How is mileage and performance with that 1406? And does it have an overflow back to the gas tank?

Lucas is highly recommended as they stand behind their tires, have friends that had problems with Coker not standing behind their tires.
Have wide WW Diamdbacks on mine, and happy with them.
