I am pulling the engine to make sure there are no issues and to give it cosmetic overhaul, hardware paint, etc.

I used a 2 ton cherry picker with a leveler and it came out in about 15 min. I was amazed.

I just went thru an ordeal with other glass and was told glass has a natural green tint, especially as previously stated, looking at the edge.

PackardDon and Ross,

Thanks for the input. That is what I figured but there are a lot of things I figured wrong over time.

Unfortunately, I have no way to access the other car or its TPN. I have been told my car was EARLY, whatever that means.

Also the data plate (decal) on mine is illegible.

I found a car similar to mine and within 4 cars. They said that they found a production date of July 30, 1937 written on a panel behind the rear seat.

My question is could a '38 be produced that early?

Thank you both. That is very helpful information.

This one must be different as it has an external trunk in the rear deck behind the rear window, but has a solid bench seat with a well behind it. Nothing folds and only the single seat.

Dr.'s coupe maybe, hence the "SPECIAL" with the coupe on the tag?

No engine and I am checking the wheelbase.
