My father was a fool blooded Dennis Leary. I am only about half Dennis Leary, as it diminishes through each generation. I might actually have a normal child!

Thank you HH56! Those pics are fantastic. Especially like the ones with digital calipers. You've given me a great starting place.

Owen: The present leadership of Fiat must be doing something right. As I recall Fiat in 2004 was on the brink of going under in 2004.

I hope the Italian government does a better job with Fiat/Chrysler than they did with Alitalia. Damlier still owns 19% of Chrysler which Im sure they'd love to dunp.

I see today it was announced that an alliance between Fiat and Chrysler. Fiat will be taking a 35% interest in Chrysler, with the possibility of obtaining a 55% share of Chrysler in the future.

G'day 1935Packard,

Although you've been a member of Packardinfo for quite some time, I see this is your first post, so a belated to the Site. Sorry, can't help with your question.
And for including your '35 V12 Coupe Roadster in the Owner Registry, a very nice looking Packard.

Or maybe he was just re-doing my work? It really shouldn't be surprising as we were starting to build the body bucks, or templates. Something we had never done before. But after a little practice things started to fall into place.

Ron,

Like the way you and your buddies are attacking this project. But no wonder you have to do a number of things 2 or 3 times!

Diamondback Tires vulcanizes white sidewalls of any size on modern radial tires made by major manufacturers. The set of radials I bought from them for my 1956 Patrician were mounted on Firestone tires. I am very pleased with them and they handle MUCH BETTER than the old bias ply tires. Packard would have used radials if they had been available from U.S. manufacturers in 1956.

okay.....now i am officially pissed the F off!!

look at the last picture of the torsion motor mounted and then look at the solenoids.......THEY ARE MOUNTED BACKWARDS!!!! the nipple end of the solenoid goes to the front of the car, not the back. F!!!!! @@#$%@#%@#%~!!!! check this old pic out and you will see what i am talking about. https://packardinfo.com/xoops/html/uploads/newbb/491_4913ab4a82808.jpg

the reason i know is because the limit switch does not get touch at all by the bars. reason is because the way i have the solenoids makes the limit switch sit too far back towards the back of the car. witch is wrong! if i flip them it moves the limit switch towards the front of the car and that will work. the long arm slams right into the front of the torsion limit switch toggle arm....@#$@#$~!!S@#%$@#$$~!!$@#$%!$~!!#$!@$!#$!!

now i get to take it all apart...all that nice painting and sealing for F-ing NOTHING!!!

i have never been more pissed....call it on my youth,....but F!@!@!!!!!@#@#%$R@#!
