When looking at pictures of old garages I am amazed at the poor lighting.

I can only see two light fixtures in these photos.

The mechanics must have eyes like eagles.

Needy

Your distributor is working properly, the cam and roter are rotated in the same direction as the shaft rotation to advance them in relation to the cam shaft and crank to cause the points to open sooner in relation to the crank and cause the spark sooner in relation to the crank and cam position, (ie, advanced).

If you need any help contact me as I am in Snoqualmie, WA.

I also found that bleeding brakes with a Mighty Vac was a PITA. I found what I think is a better and faster way

I discovered Speed Bleeders while fighting the brakes on my Ford Power Stroke F250.

Speed Bleeders are bleed screws that have a check valve in them and also have a coating on the threads to prevent the air intrusion passed the threads.

You slip a piece of tubing over the nipple, into a container, open the bleeder a quarter turn and pump the peddle. It's quick and clean and works.

You can find them by googleing "speed bleeder" or on E-bay the same way. About $7.00 each. Cheap at twice the price, I have them in every vehicle I work on.

Back in the 70's there was an operation here in the northwest recreating their version of the "Darrin".

The car was, in my opinion a pos, It was not a 20 footer as even at that distance it was obviously not real.

A number of them were sold and this is possibly one of them.

This is just my opinion, Buyer Beware.

Most know Bob Neal as a Packard historian and author,

Bob was also an avid collector of antique Smith and Wesson hand guns.

His first book was Smith and Wesson 1857 to 1945 and it is considered the bible for Smith and Wesson collectors.

Bob was a gentleman and a great friend, he will be missed by all who knew him.

Sincerely, John Sauser

ps. Funeral arrangment are by Bonney Watson Funeral Home.

IF the Marcel Spring in the disk is missing or broken you will have chatter that will drive you crazy until you find it.
