Try doing a Search on Horn, you might find what you're looking for.
Here's one link that might help:

Fixed the Clutch Pedal hanging up, found I had the plate to low down. Loosened the screws and slide the plate all the way up. All better now.
Also cleaned up the Backup Switch on the column, Backup Light works now.
The photo below was taken when I first started taking it apart and in it you can see how the plate was up as high as it could go.
Thanks guys for all the help.
Wes

Dell, after looking at my spare Backup Light. I notice it has three wire spring clips in it where this one has only two. So I'm wondering if someone didn't stick this clip in there to make up for the missing clip. So pulled a spring clip out of the spare and putting it back together.

Howard, it looks like I need to take the carpet up again. I'm hoping it is just that I didn't get the panel on correctly because I didn't have this problem before. But I do need to look into it. I'm just surprise about how it does slap the underside of the floor when the pedal unsticks. Once I get the pedal from sticking then I probably won't notice it anymore.
As always, Thanks for the help guys!

No help on the green clip in the Backup Light? Oh well on to the next question. I notice the Clutch Pedal is slapping the floor as it comes all the way back up. Is there not a mechanical stop or is it just that Rubber around the pedal (Boot Pedal) that is suppose to stop the pedal from slapping the underside of the floor?
Thanks!

Kevin, Here's a video by Eric The Car Guy about using water, it's an old trick, so something to keep in the back of your mind.

Okay, I took my Heater Core in and The guy at the shop said he couldn't find a leak and I must have gotten it after all.
So good news there. Put it all back together, got the seat in and took it out for a spin around the neighborhood. Turn Signals all working and the cancel is working. Only thing I did notice was that I can't see the forward turn signal blinking with the parking lights on (Tail Turn Signals flash).
Next I went to check the Backup Light, I'm glad I've been following the blog
https://packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=23461&forum=2

"Back-Up Lights on 50 Deluxe", some very helpful information, I didn't think about needing to turn on the lights for the backup light to work. I'm guessing back in the day it wasn't there to warn people you were backing up, just need for when it was dark and to light up the area behind you.
So of course the Backup Light didn't work, Checked at the switch on the column, with lights on I had power on one side in Reverse. Looks like my switch is bad, probably needs a cleaning.
Jumper out the switch still no light. Check wire in trunk going to Backup Light, -6 Volts so far so good. Take apart light check bulb it checks good. work bulb in socket light starts working. So now just need to fix switch, until I notice a metal clip that had fallen out of the Backup Light when I pulled it apart. Any help on where this green clip goes, I've tried a couple different places but nothing looks correct to me.
As always thanks for any and all help!
Wes

Now I more surprised, that no one chimed in about cleaning carbon deposits with water or telling me I'm all WET (Get it water all wet! Ha! I kill me!) Oh well, just something I heard or read about somewhere.

I'm not surprised it was an exhaust valve. That's usually the one that sticks with carbon build up.
There was something reported at one time, maybe someone else can shade more light on it, but while the engine is running to pour or dribble water into the carburetor to help clean out carbon. It's been awhile since I've heard about it but someone has to remember.

Just encase anyone would like to know, the cable with a red and green wire looks to be under two feet long and the Green Wire is connected to the back of the Instrument Panel Upper Corner on the right side looking at the back. Of course the Red Wire goes to the Ing. Switch.
