This is car #5682-4760, the 16th-to-the-last 1956 Patrician built. (The last one, built on June 25, 1956, 67 years and 5 months ago today, #5682-4775, was the last Packard built in Detroit.)

#5567-4829 is a 1955 Clipper Custom Constellation 2-door hardtop, 1 of 6,672 built. (The first serial number for this model was 5567-1001, so this car is the 3,829th built.) MP is paint code White Jade over Citrine (yellow). 53 is trim code for Green cloth and Green imitation leather. The 5567s listed in the 1955 V-8 Roster are 9 in excellent condition, 13 very good, 50 good, 19 fair, 10 poor, 11 scrapped, and 22 unknown condition.

It seems that most of the 1956 400s were painted MK, like this car (Scottish Heather and Dover White). Most of those cars had a #86 interior (Black Cloth and Red leather). This car has (or had) a #85 interior (Black cloth and White leather).

The biggest difference between the two clubs is in the publications. PAC produces 16 publications a year - the monthly "Cormorant News Bulletin" and the quarterly magazine "The Packard Cormorant". PI produces only a quarterly magazine.

Looking forward to seeing you at the SAH Book Signing on Tuesday. I will be picking up your new book on A/C.

I will be there as well with my two-volume biography on James J Nance. And, at the PAC tent on Wednesday through Friday (GAD-28 -- look for the yellow Packard Balloon) there will be a book signing as well. Along with my books, the new 70th Anniversary book on the history of the Packard Club (1953-2023) will be available, signed by the authors, Paul Delaney and Craig Handley.
