Hi,
Thanks for the info. What was the cost of refurbishing that 51? Was it cosmetically restored as well as mechanical/functional?

You can also go under the car and try to unscrew it from the back...there are three "teeth" that slide into the radiator cover that holds it in place. A large pair of channel locks will work to grab the teeth and twist the disk out

That tool is readily available. Kanter Auto has them....I picked one up there last year for $50 (I think that was the price). I saw a bunch at Hershey for sale for in the $25 range. Max Merritt also probably has them.....

Hello All,
I have a 1930 7-40 Roadster with a straight 8. How do I tell the difference between the motor being a Super 8 or Standard 8? Is there a difference in 1930 or are they all one type?

Sorry in advance as I'm sure this has probably been discussed here, but I've searched and cannot find a thread on it.

Thank you.

Hi All,
Pulled my Owen Dyneto DN860 yesterday and the front bolt on the bendix spring broke off. Im looking to get it tapped out, but would like to replace the whole mechanism. I emailed Jason at AER Rebuild and am looking to replace the entire front spring (i think it is called the bendix?) assembly. Does anyone know where I can purchase this assembly? Maybe have a part number for the assembly? Googling around online and trying to look for a part number has not yielded much help. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks All...
V/R,
Rich

Looking for a set of 1930 (29-31 will likely fit) of window wings. Any condition.
