Lots of WD-40 and PB Blaster with some gentle tapping of the top of the valve through the spark plug hole freed up stuck exhaust valve in cylinder 6. I'm soaking the remaining exhaust valves (2 and 4) and hopefully will free them up as well. Fingers crossed!

Looks like a valve in each of cylinders 4 and 6 is stuck open- can't visualize cylinder 2 in the photos I took, but compression test readings in 2,4 and 6 cylinders were zero dry and wet. Exhaust or intake valve?

I hadn't noticed the "Dynamic Compression" label, and I'd assumed it was typical static compression test results. Thanks for pointing out the difference. Yes, I think I'm going to have to pull the head and valves.

Float was fine and the needle seats perfectly well, but still leaking. I spoke with Scott Henningsen of pac-carbs.com, and he said one of the most common causes of leaks is due to warping or pin holes in the pot metal lower section leading to float bowel over fill. I’m going to send the carburetor to him to rebuild as he has manufactured all the replacement parts needed. Thanks for everyone’s input!

I’m thinking about filling the zero compression cylinders with Marvel mystery oil or penetrating oil and letting them soak to see if I can get the stuck valves to loosen up. Any thoughts or recommendations?

I have lots of documentation on the car which was originally restored by Nethercutt around 1960- Here’s an Allen-Tronic evaluation that I believes dates to that period, although no specific date is listed. Page two lists compression test results at the time- mostly 60-65 psi, and check boxed “ok”-interesting.

Thanks to all!
I’ve got problems- hopefully it’s just valves that can be adjusted, and cylinder 1 likely with a ring issue.
