Stabilizer for clutch chatter

Hi All, I still have a bit of clutch chatter in my 1936 120B conv' coupe. It was present before I pulled the car apart last year and is still present, although rather less, after a new clutch plate, resurfaced pressure plate and flywheel and new pilot bearing. The clutch specialist said the pressure plate was good with all springs consistent.
Someone mentioned there was an aftermarket stabilizer bar available to minimize or eliminate this clutch shudder. Only occurs as you let the clutch out and is more pronounced on hill starts. All suggestions welcome. By the way, new front engine mounts and revulcanised transmission mounts. The cars drive beautifully smoothly so I want to sort out this little problem.
Cheers from NZ, Mal

Thanks Dallas. Is there meant to be spring with this check valve? Does anyone have a full exploded diagram of this carb? None of the carb manuals for WDO that I have seen actually show this pump check valve, they just mention it as part of disassembly/assembly routine. Other versions of WDO seem to use a check ball.

Hi Guys, I have a Carter WDO, 512S carb on my 1936 120B Conv coupe. Just giving it a clean out after 2300 mile drive around NZ South Island with 20 other Packards. A problem!! The needle valve (looks like a small version of the fuel input needle valve)fell out when I turned the carb upside down after removing the airhorn, and now I don't know which way it goes in. The screw above it seems to have a taper in the bottom so I wonder if the valve goes with needle point up toward bottom of screw. Any help welcomed ASAP as I want to put it back together. As a side note, I have had the car for 9 years and just finished a body off restoration just before the trip. It was mainly body, paint, upholstery, wiring and chrome as I have kept her mechanically excellent over recent years.
