We are getting all the closer to getting the car painted! The rear window has been removed, and the rear passenger side window has also been removed. I am currently looking for parts for the car's interior and exterior.

1949 23rd Series Sun Visor

Hello again, everybody! I haven't been on here lately, but I have made a lot of progress on the car. Right now I'm looking for a period correct exterior sun visor for my car. I beleive that the 1941-1950 cars used the same visor, so there is a large variety out there. I would like to know if anyone has one for sale, knows of one that I could get my hands on, or if anyone knows of a company that makes perfect reproductions. I would prefer one that has little or no paint so I can paint it with the car, but I can always remove the paint. Thanks a lot!

Many of the Packard six-cylinder engines were the same and didn't change much over the years. I think you can use multiple parts out of other Packard Straight 6s. But, of course, I own a car with the mighty straight 8 so I might be wrong.

Okay, now I need to know where I can get one of these mats. Does anybody know of a repro place or original?

I obviously need either a reproduction or original mat, but I don't know if the carpet inserts were specific to the trim code. Were they?

That's a mighty fine car you've got there! I can give you an estimate in the top speed, but I don't know exactly what it is. It's probably close to 100 mph. That Deluxe Eight weighs in at 3,770 lbs. These bathtub Packards are usually relatively quiet cars unless there's something wrong with it. Whether it's driving or standing it's fairly quiet. But I dont know what foreign countries take "quiet" as being.

Hey everybody! When I was taking apart the interior of my car, the front floor mat (black rubber mat with carpet on it) ripped in half. I need another one. Does anyone know where I can get one? And is the carPet on it the same kind that was on the floor of my specific car or were they all the same carpet on all of the mats? Thanks!

I have a guy coming to estimate a paint job for the car and I need the exact colour of the Turquoise Blue paint. I need all the dyes and such. I found a site that gives all of the exact dye colours, but I don't remember where it was. Thanks!
