Ps abs power brake is on orange st in southern la my geography is poor ,they sell parts to all of the supplier ,I used the air vent hole in the firewall on the driver side to put on a plate and had scolded of room to hang a 9" booster the engine made plenty of vacumb but that was an initial concern
You could drive the car by there' and they'll fit you up ,original rims were fine too

I spent about 2500 on a rebuild by the guys who said they were "really good at it" in the sf Bay Area Oakland. ,boy what a mess ,no compression because the never adjusted the valve stems
Cost me another 3000 to fix what the first guys mangled !
So before you pop down the $ make sure the guys have an oldster hanging around that understand the job
Max Merritt has modified caddie hydraulic lifters that'll fit but the initial adjustment takes some expertise and a small adjusting puc ,don't let anyone forget the heat distribution tube and that a lot of the oiling lines are external!

I had a 50 chevy custom 4 door ,which had been stranded at the volunteers of America and the mechanic who they would get to make the donated cars run a
tipped me off ,Alan Michelet was his name ,in New Orleans I drove it for ever ,I sold it to my nephew when he was 15 shipped it out to him you should have seen his face when it showed up , and he rewired it ,loved it made a movie in it drove it all though high school, but on the sale condition that if he ever got tired of it, I got it back for the same 1500 .oo and he did and I did ,then I got to drive it All over again including a cross country trip ,( I passed one car on the trip !) until Katrina ,
I lived off the 2500 base car value minus 1200 depreciation ( those rats) I got from the old car insurance ,none of the other insurance companies paid anything for Katrina losses except the cAr guys .i also lost a 51 Packard ,
Well I ended up swapping her for a old hot rodded nova ( mistake)
And the tradee was digging under the seat ...
What do you know ,a huge diamond ear ring ,he never would tell me what he got for it but he said it was quite a rock
I've since replaced the 51 Pack with a 52 200 touring sedan ,and the 50 custom with a 49 fleet line
The kids about to retire as a dot com computer genius
Looked under your seat lately ?

Nice lookin ride!! I finally gave up and put a 12 v - gr battery in my 52,
got a power gen distributer that bolts right in in 3min ,a pertronix points eliminator and a hot coil they supply and presto ,no issues as was just pointed out the engine doesn't care ,the voltage regulator is no longer needed ,it'll charge at idle ,no more hot or cold start issues ,cosmetically invisable too

Hi I got my dual resevoir system for my 52 from a company called ABS in l.a. Ca. Nice folks there ,they supply parts that others sell there was a generic booster pedal included I think mine was a 9 " I also used the driver vent hole with a piece of plate metal over it to mount to
They supplied the discs and calipers too
Engine vac plenty to pull it
I'm very happy wit h the switch
Judging from the pics on the thread
I also had to bang in the inner fender a bit to make room for the proportioning valve
