My 1939 Super Eight is pretty stock and it has thermostatic shutters, I'm pretty sure all Supers and V12's had them and also the 120's. Not sure of the Sixes though.

At first glance it looked like a coupe, but it's a nicely done sedan. Too bad about not having a Packard engine though...................!

The Henry J / Allstates always looked stumpy to me. Much more balanced is the beautiful Bentley Continental and gorgeous PininFarina Packard.

I believe that tint is due to the age of the glass and the UV rays of the Sun. Ever see 100 year old original headlights? They have a purple sheen to them, which is from the Sun (as I was told many years ago).
